As the wife of a youth minister and university minister
serving Southern Baptist Churches for more than 20
years, Becky filled many ro
les within the church
family.  She has served as a Bible Study teacher
within the WMU, Sunday School, Church Training
and student discipleship.  She participated in Choir
and fellowships including teaching crafts and
ceramics through church recreation.  She served as
Youth Minister in Lafayette, AL and as Associational
Youth Director for the East Liberty Baptist
Association.

Over this time, she has developed
so many skills in
art, it is hard to know where to begin.
In addition to painting, she has mastered the art of
stained glass, paper and book making, mosaics,
pottery, and many other crafts and artistic media.

In January of 2003, after suffering from heparin
induced thrombosis, Becky had to have quadruple
amputations. She lost both of her legs below the
knees and both of her hands.

In spite of this, she has continued to produce
wonderful expressions of her love for art. She also
was able to return to her art classroom at Valley High
School in the Fall of 2003
and complete her masters
degree in Eductional Technology
. Her strength and
endurance have inspired us all.
